In the course of this redirection, your operating system, browser and IP address are stored by our provider and automatically deleted after seven days.
After the forwarding has taken place, the data protection regulations of the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, where our web space is located, apply. You can access these under the following link: https://www.uni-wuerzburg.de/sonstiges/datenschutz/. You will also find the link at the bottom of the website.
Website of the semester magazine Alumni Intern
For our members, we provide the semester magazine as part of our member area on a website hosted by Strato. After entering a non-personalised password, members can access the site and view issues of the magazine.
By accessing the site, personal data, the IP address and associated information such as the date and time of access, etc., are transmitted to us and processed. In addition, a session cookie is set after successful login.
The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. f GDPR. Cookies or data that are not technically necessary are not stored. Cookies can be deleted via the individual browser settings. If cookies are completely deactivated, it is not possible to log in and thus access the page containing the semester newspaper.
The stored data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case at the end of the respective session. As it is not possible to use the website without providing the IP address and setting a session cookie after logging in, there is no possibility of objection or removal.
Communication
If you send us a request or opinion by e-mail, post, telephone, fax or social media, the information provided will be processed for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions and the exchange of opinions. We always use the same communication channel for this, unless you request a change. If you are a member of our association, we will use the communication channels for which you have provided us with your data as part of your membership. The legal basis for processing your request in this respect is Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. a GDPR.
Post, emails and social media posts and messages that you have not sent us publicly are checked every two years to see whether it is still necessary to store your enquiries for follow-up questions. If your data is no longer required, its processing will be restricted and it will be stored in accordance with the statutory retention obligations, taking archiving law into account.
If you have communicated with us via social media or by means of a public comment function with the knowledge of the public or parts thereof, you can decide for yourself how long the publication is to last or ask us to delete it. We will delete this data in compliance with archive law within our area of responsibility. If we still have copies of the data after deletion, their processing will be restricted and they will be stored in accordance with the statutory retention obligations, taking archiving law into account.
Cancellation
If your membership of our association ends due to resignation, exclusion or death, we will delete your personal data 6 months after your membership ends, restrict its processing in compliance with archiving law or retain this data in accordance with the statutory retention obligations, taking archiving law into account. We will stop processing your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
