Feldle

Dr. Jochen Feldle

Jochen Feldle studied law at the University of Würzburg and at the Université de Caen, Basse-Normandie in France. From October 2018 till September 2020, he did his legal clerkship at the Würzburg Regional Court. From January 2016 until early 2020, he was a member of the Forschungsstelle Robotrecht under the direction of Prof. Dr. Dr. Eric Hilgendorf. In his PhD dissertation (Emergency Algorithms - Dilemmas in Automated Road Traffic, published in 2018 by Nomos-Verlag), he examined the legal challenges of increasing vehicle automation, focusing on the assessment of extreme driving situations. This work was awarded the first prize of the Münchner Fachanwaltstag IT Recht e.V. A selection of Dr Feldle’s publications can be found here. His dissertation is available from Nomos-Verlag.
