Vogel

Dr. Paul Vogel, LL.M. Eur.

Dr. Paul Vogel studied law at the University of Würzburg and passed the First State Examination in Law in July 2017. From September 2017 to July 2022 he has been working as graduate assistant at the Chair of Prof. Hilgendorf. As of 2018, he completed the postgraduate studies in European Law at the University of Würzburg for which he attained a Master of Laws in European Law (LL.M. Eur.). He completed his legal clerkship from 2020 to 2022 in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Bamberg with stages at international law firms in Frankfurt/Main and New York. In his dissertation, he dealt with the compatibility of artificial intelligence with applicable data protection law. His main area of interest is the law of digitalization, especially with regard to privacy law related challenges of new technologies. A selection of his publications is available here. His dissertation "Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection" is available in the Nomos-Shop. Since September 2022 he is working as Associate at Noerr in Munich.
