10/28/2021

In cooperation with GSiK-Jura, the Law Alumni Würzburg have invited Prof. Stuart Green (Rutgers University, New Jersey - USA) for a lecture on "Criminalizing Sex" next Tuesday, 2 November at 4 pm in Lecture Hall II (Alte Uni).

This event takes place within the framework of the Alumni Lectures and is organised by Prof. Dr. Dr. Eric Hilgendorf. You are all cordially invited to attend.

The lecture will give an overview of Prof. Green's new book, in which he develops a liberal theory of sexual offences and addresses current issues such as the dispute between the "no means no" and the "only yes means yes" model.

Prof. Green's lecture will be followed by three short lectures by Jacqueline Sittig (University of Würzburg), Lucía Solavagione (University of Bonn) and Lucila Tuñón (University of Buenos Aires/University of Würzburg). After the lectures there will be an opportunity for discussion with the speakers. The lectures and the discussion will be held in English.

The event will not only take place in compliance with the 3G rules on site, but also online: https://uni-wuerzburg.zoom.us/j/99897475694?pwd=L3lHZU5EcWJsakRGcCtsZEJFeFA4QT09
