Application and Admission

The program always begins in the winter term.

Application period for winter term begins on January 25, 2024 and ends on July 15, 2024.

Applications can be made online via the university portal WueStudy.

You can already register on WueStudy now. This account will then allow you to apply for the degree program during the application period from January 25 to July 15, 2024.

Applications for the winter semester 2024/25 can be submitted from January 25 to July 15, 2024. The application must include the following documents:

  • Bachelor’s diploma (certified copy and – if not issued in German or English – additionally officially certified translation)
  • Baccalaureate diploma (certified copy and – if not issued in German or English – additionally officially certified translation)
  • Certificate of qualified practical work experience for at least one year (original or certified copy and – if not issued in German or English – additionally officially certified translation)
  • English language test results (original or certified copy and – if not issued in German or English – additionally officially certified translation)
  • German language test results (original or certified copy and – if not issued in German or English – additionally officially certified translation) [may also be submitted until the end of the second semester]
  • CV covering everything up to the date of application

 

For German applicants:

Once your application has been submitted, the admissions committee will assess whether all admission requirements have been met. In this case, you will receive a letter of admission. Otherwise, you will receive a rejection notice. With the letter of admission, you can enrol at the university of Würzburg via the office of student affairs.

For international applicants:

Once an application has been submitted, the admissions committee will assess in cooperation with the International Office whether the admission requirements have been met. If the admission requirements are met, you will receive a letter of admission from us. After receiving the letter of admission, you can enroll as a student at the University of Würzburg (after submitting further documents).


 

Please note: We are obliged to keep your application documents and therefore cannot return any documents. All the information you provide about your educational background should be backed up by copies of your educational certificates. Do not send original certificates, but officially-certified copies. If your certificates are not issued in German or English, an additional authenticated translation into German or English is required.
