Scholarships
Requirements
Formal requirements
In order to be considered for a scholarship, the results of your legal examinations and written examinations should be predominantly in the double-digit range. Special achievements in non-university fields (e.g. music, politics or sport) are also very useful. If you fulfil these requirements, you can also apply in the first semester.
It is important that you apply for a scholarship yourself. The same principle applies here as everywhere else: get active!
Funding opportunities
Please note that the list of scholarships is not exhaustive. Further funding opportunities and explanatory information can be found on the website of the University of Würzburg's Student Advisory Service or on the website of the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft. If you are interested in scholarships for stays abroad, we recommend the online overview of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
