Legal conflicts related to the use of robots

Robots are being used more and more in Germany's workplaces; some robots even work in close quarters with employees, i.e. without physical barriers to separate them. But what happens in case of an accident? Can a robot be "responsible" for an accident? Or must the employee bear full responsibility? Nicolas Woltmann from the Robotrecht Forschungsstelle at the University of Würzburg, provides answers to these and other questions about the current state of human-robot cooperation.
