On October 14, 2019, the Centre for Digitalization in Bavaria, together with the Bavarian Research Institute for Digital Transformation and the Forschungsstelle RobotRecht of the University of Würzburg, held a symposium on the ethics and law of autonomous systems.
Eric Hilgendorf, Julian Nida-Rümelin and Dr. Alexandra Kirsch discussed questions of liability, the ethical design of autonomous systems and their technological feasibility. Kimberly Drummer took over the moderation in the afternoon and brought together the three perspectives - law, ethics and technology.
