Honorary Professors

The honorary title "Honorary Professor" may be granted to lecturers who stand out through special achievements in academic research and teaching despite working full time outside the faculty. The Faculty of Law in Würzburg attaches special importance to the integration of these "teaching practitioners". They establish an ideal connection between theory and practical application, between legal studies and jurisdiction.

Currently judges of the Federal Court of Justice (BGH), members of the European institutions and renowned lawyers are teaching at the Faculty of Law in Würzburg.
